In this workshop we will explore what happens when we feel stress. How does the body respond to stressful thoughts and situations? How do our anxious thoughts appear in our body? From here we will learn how to change these responses to a positive relationship with the moment, our body and understand how to calm the mind.
This class starts with a talk on how to reduce stress hormones in the body and move into a more relaxed state inside yourself. There will then be a question and answer session followed by a Kundalini yoga class.
Together we will learn to recite 25th paragraph of the morning prayer (Japji) and then we will do the Bahotaa Karam Kriya, to enchance our good luck and abundance. Recitation is 62minutes, meditation is 31 minutes and then we will end with a gong meditation.

This beginner’s workshop will give you the confidence to attend future Kundalini Yoga classes and workshops. It will cover basic principles, mantras, and poses used in Kundalini Yoga and explain the Ten Yogic Bodies through experiential learning.
