This beginner’s workshop will give you the confidence to attend future Kundalini Yoga classes and workshops. It will cover basic principles, mantras, and poses used in Kundalini Yoga and explain the Ten Yogic Bodies through experiential learning. The two-hour session will encompass opening and closing mantras, pranayama, mediation, a kriya (yoga series), relaxation and a focused discussion on the Ten Yogic Bodies.
You will also be provided a mediation to further your practice at home. The workshop will include time for reflection and a Q&A session over Yogi Tea.

ABOUT SATYA ADI KAUR
Satya Adi Kaur is an international social worker recognized for her
ability to effectively design and lead programs that address sustainability, gender equity, peace building and community development.
Spending the past 14 years, traveling to over 50 countries, working on various projects with the public, private and civil society sectors, Satya is now settled in Abu Dhabi. She has also sat on numerous international boards and steering committees for NGOs and the UN focused on public health, sustainablity, women's empowerment, and protection throughout her career, and is currently a Trustee of B One Foundation, which promotes yoga and mindfulness throughout urban settings in London.
She has received numerous awards from NATO and the U.S. Government for her service and commitment to women and development. She started practicing Kundalini Yoga over five years ago to manage her Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, as a result of her work in conflict settings. With a childhood dream to have a conversation with the entire world, Satya's passion for building communities with a strong ethos towards empathy and compassion continues through yoga, consulting and community programs. She is a Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher (expected 2019).
